How to Load, Secure and Keep Your Trailer Cargo in Place

Securing your cargo properly is not just about preventing damage—it’s a legal and safety requirement. Whether you’re transporting furniture, tools, or construction materials, knowing how to strap down your load correctly can save you from costly mishaps and potential accidents.

Choose the Right Equipment

Not all straps and tie-downs are created equal. Heavy-duty ratchet straps are best for securing larger loads, while bungee cords are useful for keeping lighter items in place.
